Motion
Helena Masterson
I am a full-time BA (Hons) Graphic Design student in my third year, who is studying motion graphics and web design/coding at The University of Salford.
During my study I have been involved with projects such as creating a short film for The Bluecoats Gallery in Liverpool and co-constructing a themed installation space for the premiere of the 1985 film ‘My Beautiful Launderette’.
In addition to this, I worked for six weeks at a design company in Manchester in 2011, which allowed me to get involved with various aspects of the design process, as well as actively promoting the project in hand through social media and promotional activities.
Other work experience includes producing a Digital Biography DVD for The University of Salford which got distributed across the North West and was to help encourage people from different backgrounds to attend University.

Self Promotion
I made this interactive storyboard as a self promotion piece which helped me to get a six week placement at a design company.
